Today marks 2 months since my Dad passed away. I was with him through many moments and finally as he took his last breath. There’s an emptiness that’s engulfed part of me that I’m certain will never go away. We shared a deep understanding of each other as creative people and because of that he was my greatest supporter for many years and I for him. I have so many fond memories of him and for that I’m grateful. I miss him immensely.

Thanks for all of the birthday wishes! I appreciate so many of you reaching out. Paul booked a massage for me and sent me a beautiful arrangement of roses. My dad is still in the hospital so I spent the rest of the day by his side for my 41st which looked a lot different than this photo from my 39th birthday when we made flower arrangements at his house together. 🖤💐

Last year I got to work with two Legends on this disgusting 7” by the title of “Deformed Deviation” by the Extreme duo @nephasto.official It is out now on @extremelyrottenprod grab it before it’s gone! I’ve been a fan of @tornfrombeyond work for years and was psyched to finally work with her. While I’ve worked with @luanacdametto before remotely, this was the first time I’ve seen her shred in the studio and absolutely top percent of drummers I’ve ever worked with. No triggers no bullshit. A must listen of true underground death metal! Honored to record this!

Since it sounded different from the previous material I had written for that band, I sent it to Luana a couple of years ago to see what she would come up with. When she sent her drum track back to me, I knew instantly this would end up being a devastating song. Despite chaotic touring schedules and geographical differences between us, we managed to carve out a couple of days to get together and record in late October of 2024. The result is undoubtedly most comprehensive sound I’ve been a part of yet. I look forward to creating more with Luana in the future. I’d like to extend my utmost gratitude to Arthur Rizk for capturing the madness and to my old friend @extremelyrottenprod for releasing this putrid slab into the world.
