If you haven’t seen them yet, please make it over to view the amazing inkjet prints by Robert Bergman of his portraits from the late 1980’s and early 1990’s. The exhibition at the @hillartfoundation on 10th Avenue (between 24th and 25th Streets) has been curated by David Levi Strauss. In many cases Strauss perfectly pairs Bergman’s photographs with paintings to show the much longer tradition Bergman is pulling from for his photographs. The show is closing next Saturday. You want to see them in person!

It’s a wrap! @spenational 2026 Conference in Atlanta was spectacular this year. Congratulations and 👏🏻 to Toni Robert’s @andtonisays@tompashe@eric_kunsman and the entire SPE Board on a phenomenal event this year. Always great seeing old friends and making new connections. This year’s theme, Catalyst for Exchange, was in full force!!
DSI created a new Monochrome Award for this year’s festival. Our thanks again to Karen Haas and @jesstdugan who reviewed all the work.
Congratulations to @kambli.priya who received the top award, which includes a $600 travel stipend and a $2,500 printing credit. Bravo to @matteich and @rayraycox on receiving honorable mentions and a free 16x20 DSI Digital Silver Print of one of their images.
