India highlights 🇮🇳
Our trip to india sure was an experience!
We saw so many amazing things, some of the pictured highlights include:
Food tour in Delhi with @thelostcompass.in@sonali_k023 where we tried some of the most amazing Indian food I’ve ever tasted
Stayed in a rural town, had a camel cart ride through the streets, felt like we were the entertainment for everyone for the evening 😆
Slept in a former walled palace!
Agra Fort and Taj Mahal - incredible intricacy and beauty
Corbett National Park safari at @jimsjungleretreatcorbett - saw 2 separate tigers casually stroll across the road less than 10 feet from me! along with elephants, vultures, eagles and more
Rode the Toy Train through the mountains in Shimla and visited the monkey temple of Hanuman
Bathed in the Ganges river and witnessed the nightly light ceremony on the banks
Attended a yoga class in the yoga capital of the world
Went to an Indian wedding!
There were also challenges - I found the amount of people completely overwhelming in a lot of places, along with the constant noise in cities and pollution in Delhi. By day 3 I was craving some food that wasn’t dairy, deep fried or oily (salad is as rare as diamonds in India). The Indian service culture was also a little demanding for an introvert who wants to just be left alone 😆 along with just not sleeping great and having a cold for the second half of the trip 🤧
But definitely so glad I went and a trip I’ll remember forever. India is a feast for the senses - the food smells and tastes amazing, there are some awe inspiring sights to behold, and I captured many immersive sounds using my field recorder, which I turned into songs over at @thisisrooms__
Thanks so much to @markbratttravel for organising many of the parts I consider highlights ❤️ great service and highly recommended.
Here’s my honest year in numbers after my first year of being a solo entrepreneur.
I’m quite disillusioned with the toxically positive recaps on social media so I’ve been as neutral as my validation-seeking personality will allow!

Thank you to all of my friends, clients and partners who have championed me this year. It means a lot that I’ve had your confidence and support as I moved into this next phase in my life 🧡
Have an amazing festive break and happy new year!
✨
So grateful to unplug for a few days in the sun ☀️
This is the second time I’ve done a solo all inclusive and I love it! So nice to not have to think about planning anything and just have everything taken care of. I didn’t look at my laptop / work once, and spent the time reading, listening to podcasts, working out and making music. I loved the onsite gym and spa and got a full body aloe vera massage which helped my slightly sunburned back (one downside to holidaying alone 😆)
Thanks for a lovely stay @h10playaesmeralda I’ll definitely be back!
