A few weeks in Japan turned into these ❀
I hand-knotted the paracord elements and built these keychains around moments that stuck with me:
• pink inspired by the historic city of Kurashiki, cherry blossoms in full bloom, and those soft, everyday city scenes
• blue inspired by the aesthetic Miyuki bead factory, quiet backstreets of Uji, and slow, mindful cafe moments
This felt like such a fun way to translate a place into something tactile. 1 more week in Asia then I'll be back in San Diego! I'm excited to explore more handmade knot components like this for future pop-ups⊹ ࣪ ˖

I'm in Japan with a custom keychain in tow to gift to my friend who lives here in the city✨️
I added a 4th Ave charm as a nod to her New York roots and a sweet cafe charm for all the coffee shops lining Tokyo’s streets. The rest are pieces that remind me of her and the memories we’ve shared together.
I love the intentional art of giving people personalized gifts. And so do many of you. A lot of people stop by my pop-ups to make a gift for a loved one (two friends made one for each other and another made one for her sister who is studying to be a patissier in Florence👨🍳). It's so fun meeting all of you, hearing your stories, and seeing what you create.
I'll be hosting more pop-ups and an in-person workshop when I'm back from Japan. Hope to see you there!
