An exit named.. BLIND VIOLENCE (Voldanosi).. Corked n Committedš.. while the rest of Veko slept in from the party, myself an @compton_ke reaped the rewards..
2023 recap⦠I donāt have oneš¤£.. itās the same as last year and the years before.. day in day out focused on the same thing(š).. but I do have a highlight of 2023.. a project Iāve been working towards in complete silence for 5 years..
ULIās HOLE.. but my way.. which included a 2nd phase of connecting to the streamline with a big flare to cork.. but to do that and be able to pull it off my way, I needed to break down the flight into blocks of skills required so I could achieve my goal. Not only did I want to fly it, but I wanted to fly it exactly the way I visualised flying that particular mountain. As the years went by and I attained the skills I needed, my understanding of what was required also grew. I was in no rush; I had no time limit because no one knew. First, become a wingsuit base pilot. Then I needed everything from dynamic flying skills, terrain sight picture management, body awareness, mountain weather education, accuracy piloting, mental fitness and most of all, patience..
2023 I achieved this goal.. thank you for those that support my choices to be me.. without trying to force their perception on me.
Wingsuit season is here⦠and one of the biggest mistakes people make is trying to restart where they left off last year.
This is one of the key lessons from our new Leading Edge x Inclined Labs piece: being excited to jump again is not the same as being ready to jump again.
Tomicās advice is simple: donāt rush.
If you have had a break, do not pile too much on all at once just because the sun is out and everyone is back flying. Build progressively, make a plan for where you are now, and level it up slowly.

Strength endurance training in the Wingsuit to prepare for performance flying. It looks like nothing but you see how shaky we fly because it get much harder to fly smooth while you engage your whole body. From shoulders to the toes everything is pushing out to create as much length and therefore surface area as possible while we are still trying to be as aerodynamic as possibleš„µš¦
We will definitely do much more of this @tomic_13 š«µ
