hello! I had a few sessions cancelled next week, so if anyone fancies booking any last minute recording, mixing, and/or mastering, hit me up! I can turn around mixes pretty quick for the next week or so 🎛️

We’re going to Poland! At the end of May my band @theyachtclubtyc are flying over to Poland for a mini-tour. I don’t know if I know anyone there, but if I do, come through! Needless to say I obviously wont be doing any mixing over that period, so if we’re working together please bare that in mind for your plans. Alright thanks then cheers!

NEW SONG! NEW VINYL! NEW SHOW! NEW MERCH! Before stepping forward with our new album, we wanted to pay respect to the past and what we have achieved as a band so far. Our new song “The Greatest Misadventure (Anniversary Edition)” is OUT NOW and reflects exactly that. We absolutely love this song. Over the years it’s evolved from me wrestling with my guitars in my room in my old student house share, to a song that continued to be crafted and honed on the road long after we released it. With members coming and going it naturally evolved, parts changed, and got to a point the original doesn’t reflect us as a unit. This new version represents who we are now, and I think we can play it a little better than we could before! We have made some INCREDIBLY limited edition 7” Lathe Cut records for this release, which comes as a bundle with a T-shirt designed by @michaelajay_graphics . The shirt and Vinyl will only be available until stocks last via our Bandcamp and then won’t be printed again! The B-side to the vinyl comes with an instrumental version for those who prefer their guitars to sing do them instead. Link to this is in our bio or pop us a message/comment and I’ll DM you the link. Huge thanks to @tmhillyy for recording this at @thebookhousestudio who also recorded the original version. It was a pleasure to have him play the ‘Right Ear Guitar’ on this whilst we were in between members. We’ve known each other for years and collaborated on some songs with his band @mutteringband in previous years so it felt totally natural. You can find the song everywhere you listen to music. It’s been a right busy start to 2026. The January slump was non-existent and February has not slowed down either. I’ve have already been lucky enough to mix some incredible songs, produce some great records, and be a part of the pre-production process with a couple of bands (which I’ve wanted to do for AGES). I’ve only managed to sneak a handful of days off since the start of the year, but despite a bit of tiredness I’m very thankful if you’ve trusted me with your music so far! Hello! Couple of orders of business 1. Weekend recording slots are in short supply. There’s 1 possible weekend between now and May 2. From April my recording rates will be going up slightly to match inflation (something I haven’t done for 2 years). Any bookings made between now and April will be honoured at the existing rate, even if the session is after April. If you want to lock in the old price, hit me up! 3. Mixes have a bit of backlog. I’m still working through the Christmas backlog and have had a lot come in this month. If you need something done, the best thing you can do is give me mix notes as soon as you can. Few days of drums with @wearebangkitan

2025 has been a really good year for working on music. I’ve been lucky to play a role in creating a bunch of great records. I also got back into regular live sound engineering, and I’ve really enjoyed the challenge. In my personal life, I bought a home (new home studio pictured) and exceeded my weight loss target. I had a bunch of other personal and career goals I didn’t meet, but years are an arbitrary unit of time so they’re 2026’s problem now. I have a couple more days of mixing left before I take a holiday over Christmas. I’ll be away from my desk between December 19th and January 5th. Cheers!
