The “My City’s Filthy” exhibit book is BACK IN PRINT, baby! We sold out while at Bumbershoot - and due to popular demand, we’re doing another run. Pre-order now at link in bio! The book documents the “My City’s Filthy” group exhibit and activation at Bumbershoot @bumbershoot featuring 120+ works by over 60 local visual artists in tribute to Seattle’s cultural landmarks, iconic storefronts, and street scenes — both vanished and still here. 📙 Vanishing Seattle and Tome Press have teamed up again to produce a new art book that captures the exhibit — including pieces from Rodney H King @_kingspen , KSRA @ksra_ksra , Keven Furiya, and many more. Plus additional contributions from Amanda Manitach @amandamanitach , Jacob Berrier @jberriermd_v2 , and Seattle Punk House @punkhouseseattle ! 📙 The catalogue will be available through Asterism @asterism_books . Much of the featured artwork is for sale directly from each artist! What a pleasure to share the stage with Nathan Vass once again after six [pandemic] years to discuss his new book “Deciding to See” before another enthusiastic audience at Elliott Bay Books last night! We published his first book “The Lines That Make Us” to critical acclaim and his compassionate perspectives and thoughtful insights to the human condition and urban community continue to resonate. I’m honored to be able to collaborate with him once again.

“We did good and what we did was indelible.” Seattle’s story isn’t just in its skyline, it’s in the places we’ve loved and lost. Earlier this year, “Signs of Vanishing Seattle” author Cynthia Brothers and founder of @vanishingseattle and @tomepress designer/publisher Tom Eykemans (@teykem ) teamed up to talk about their collaboration and the beloved vanished places that inspired the book. Tap the link in our bio to hear their talk from @townhall_seattle . #seattle #vanishingseattle #seattlehistory
