With the Home of Cricket as the backdrop, Vancouver-based photographer @tombriggs captured the oldest Varsity rivalry in the world - Cambridge Uni vs Oxford Uni - battle it out in their men’s and women’s T20 matchup last week. Honours even as each university won a game a piece, but the real winner was Tom and his camera. Swipe and enjoy. #twentytwoyards #cricket #homeofcricket

Liege Bastogne Liege Femmes 2026 Thankful to be able to attend events like this and even more thankful to have work that I’ve poured everything into being ridden by the best riders in the world. The feeling never gets old. Big thanks to @leo_menville @elenaaaker @an_gelaato @emgem430 and @testrider for making it happen. And thanks to @jeredgruber and @ashleygruber for hanging out and inspiring me to shoot some photos. You guys are the best and it was awesome to see you again. Hopefully we can cross paths a little more frequently. #liegebastogneliege

Back around 1991, my friend Thomas, @tnewton11 introduced me to Manchester United, they were his team and therefore they became my team. A lifelong fandom that I’ve never gotten to live in person until today. To be there at Old Trafford as United clinched their spot in the Champions League for next year, against none other than Liverpool was something I could only dream about before. Watching years of Soccer Saturday with Graham Leggat on TSN, buying the United Magazine at Mayfair News and watching any and all highlights I could get my hands on, it was a true passion for a club in a city I had never set foot in. The beauty of United is that they’re global. Sure they’re huge but it was the accessible team to a kid on the other side of the planet years before the internet was even a thing. To be able to sing with the fans today and share my fandom with @courtneymoe7 was something special that I’ll never forget.

If you swing at the kings you best not miss. Vancouver FC had plenty of chances to bury the Hammers, but ran into the brick wall Bertaud. Max Filion called game in the 90th minute, and Forge stay perfect. 📸: @tombriggs

The Specialized Tarmac SL8 Artist Edition project was a special one. I didn’t design a single thing here, I was just a helping hand for three amazing artists to create their visions. Huge thank you to @pietparra @ynhp and @lucas_beaufort for delivering such a diverse range of amazing work. And a massive thank you to @tammy_su_ for helping with all the production of these bikes, they would not have happened without her. A big thank you also to @spaceagency and the whole marketing team as well. Stoked to see these beautiful bikes out in the world.

A spark, an explosion, it’s what the new 2026 @teamsdworxprotime kit is all about. Humbled to work with such a legendary team on this years kit. I haven’t gotten to do a lot of clothing in the past year, so this was a real treat. Thanks for the trust by the whole team to let me bring something new to the table for them. Good luck this season, we won’t have a hard time spotting you in the peloton.

A monumental move for a monumental rider. When Remco joined Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe, we knew it was time to build a golden machine for the Olympic Champion. Big thank you to @emgem430 who designed this bike with me; not bad for a first project at Specialized! And thanks as always to my friends at @lumarcolors_ for painting this machine.

A week after Rampage, I’m still having a hard time processing what I witnessed. I’m not sure I have any real way that I can sum it up, but what I know is that without people pushing their limits in that desert, I may have never gotten into mountain bikes at all. It was seeing Bender and what he was doing that lit up my imagination as a teenager. It made me realize that what felt impossible, might actually be possible. That’s not to say there aren’t limits and we saw that all too clearly this year. I was standing directly to riders left of the landing that Adolf Silva crashed on. The sight of it and the sound will live with me forever. Now that we know the extent of his injuries I hope you’ll make a donation to his recovery. I know there’s a lot of talk online about who should be paying for what, and I agree that sponsors and promoters should be covering these bills but with a life changing injury like this, every penny counts. Do what you can and make a donation. The link is in my bio.

To get to know these athletes is a privilege, one I don’t take for granted. I was left holding my breath hillside when @szymongodziek crash happened and was thrilled to see him get up. Sadly not all were so fortunate, and I send my best wishes to @adolfsilva during his recovery, along with all the other athletes that went down.

Rampage was both incredible and terrifying, but one thing that stuck out to me was how many amazing people I got to talk to. I especially want to say a huge thank you to some of the absolutely incredible photographers and videographers who took a few minutes to chat with me as I ran around with my camera not really knowing what I was doing but trying my best. The amazing work these people create is so damn inspiring. Big thanks to @davetrumporephoto @clayporter @trevorlydenphoto @bigmountainmarissa @zach_saito @jasper.gibson @tyrone_bradley @parisgore @mattygmiles and @pet__fish and anyone else I’m forgetting before racing to get on my plane right now. Thanks for taking the time to shoot the breeze out there on the hillside, it was awesome to chat with you all. Here’s a small selection of me trying my best to capture the scenes on finals day at Rampage 2025.
