My flight back to Toronto was suddenly cancelled due to the air Canada strike and I am utterly DEVASTATED to be missing the zine fair 😭😭We have been working extremely hard in preparing for this event, so please come by this Friday and Saturday to say hello to my fellow tomatoes Lisa + Soob and to see our tomato goods 🍅 including this adorable 𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒄𝒌𝒆𝒓 𝒔𝒉𝒆𝒆𝒕 being used as the background here ⏰

🍅@agnesdoubleu is a multidisciplinary designer, image collector, and artist-curator based in Toronto, and Hong Kong.
Through an experimental approach, Agnes’ creative practice seeks to integrate themes of displacement and fragmentation together in a multidisciplinary blend of digital and moving image, photography, graphic design, text, and print matter. She holds a BFA (Honours with Distinction) in Publications from OCAD University (2023) and has completed her propaedeutic studies at Design Academy Eindhoven, Netherlands.
She is also the founder of FOREVER GIFT SHOP. Agnes is currently the Communications Assistant at Xpace Cultural Centre.

Lisa Oiwa is a Japanese-Canadian visual artist and community worker based in Toronto. She holds a diploma in fashion design and community work, both obtained from George Brown College. Working primarily in illustration, painting, and sculpture, Lisa explores themes such as self-relationship, the fear of loss, and the duality of emotions. She draws inspiration from the intricacies of cat and children’s worldview. Currently, Lisa teaches art to children and youth at an after-school art program.

Bio:
Subin Ee (@subin.studio ) is a first-generation Korean-Canadian visual artist born in Seoul, South Korea, currently living in Toronto, Canada. She holds a BA in Art and Art History from the University of Toronto and Sheridan College. Her illustrations are inspired by cats. She imagines them having a job, making friends, building a community. She also believes that cute can save us.
