We are proud and excited to have recieved Opening of the Year at the Michelin Awards ceremony last night. This award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team, shareholder vision and support network who work tirelessly work together to ensure we can deliver culinary experiences like nowhere else in the city. We would also like to thank our customers who visit time and time again, bringing their friends and family and share the love of The Guild. The Guild was drempt up in 2020, the concept changed frequently as we navigated the pandemic and sought to create a unique and special homegrown restaurant of dreams in Dubai. A modern Dubai grand brasserie; a new institution amongst the city’s flourishing dining scene. It’s a serious yet playful foodie haven: an elegant dining room, a seafood market, a plant-filled nursery with winding lanes and a New York inspired cocktail bar over 420 covers and 20,000 sqft. We hope this award is the first of many and we will continue to strive to create memorable experiences. SPOTLIGHT - Tom Arnel Geelong born @tomarnel , started out in kitchens when he went to schoolies week down at Lorne and got a job as a kitchen hand in coastal kitchens where he washed dishes, waited tables and swept floors. Starting in coastal pubs, with a strong ambition to do big things, Tom knocked on the door of Vue de Monde and despite being turned away two days in a row, he returned on the third day to be given a chance to prove himself where he then worked his way up from sous chef to apprentice. In 2010, Tom moved to Abu Dhabi and then Dubai and in 2013 Tom & Serg was born. He now has had exceptional success with @hawker.boi being recognized by Michelin and founding Eat X restaurant company which holds 23 venues over the city. Another incredible example of Australian risk taking, believing in yourself and working hard to conquer a market in another country.

2025 was a year of success. From record-breaking months to hosting world-class events, The Guild team met every challenge and succeeded It was the year we truly found our footing in Dubai and became the restaurant we had always promised to be. A must-visit, and a must-come-back. We were trusted by some of the biggest names in the fashion and culinary worlds, including Jimmy Choo, Burberry, and Gordon Ramsay, to host their events and make them unforgettable. Our team delivered every time. We promoted from within, hired exceptional talent from outside, and ultimately built the strongest team in the city. And if 2025 was a success, consider it just an opening chapter. Great brands are not built in a year, but through a succession of standards, never compromised. It was an honor to host @gordongram at @theguilddubai for the epic launch of @hexclad in the UAE. Gordon and Danny’s story of building the company and passion for the product is incredible!! Thanks to the amazing Jennifer Pettinger and Georgie Woolams for putting it all together, as well as Burak , Will, Simon and all the team for making miracles happen at The Guild! Gordon is the Michael Jordan of the industry continues to inspire a generation of chefs to work hard and push their cooking to new heights ..👏 Turns out, he’s also very good at making a Mother’s Xmas wishes come true, as you can see in the last slide. 😂
