I’m super excited to be sharing a brand new live AV set including unreleased tracks from my forthcoming new album - On The Path. Sharing the stage with me tonight at @theoxfordartfactory for @backstagemusicau show Children of the Resistors, will be @tom.levings on keys/synth and @samthompson_ on trumpet. We’ll also be sharing some new 16mm scratch film visuals made by some lovely friends including @simonhoward2 @cacia_12 @melaskomedia @stupidsocials @apocalypse.tom @j_phily @sans.gabe @cayce_bot

THURS DEC 11 from 7pm FIELDS 💙🎷🎹🎸🥁🪘🪇 FIELDS are an Eora based collective led by guitarist/ producer YIANNI ADAMS & percussionist KALON CAPTAIN . Known for their freeform improvisations, FIELDS explore themes of minimalism, repetition & responsive interplay, bridging the gap between ambient grooves & afro-jazz. The group formed in 2023 when Yianni & Kalon, alongside Harry Tomspett & Kurt Lam recorded several freeform improvisations, many of which became the foundation of their debut self-titled album released in April 2025 via the independent Sydney label CG Discs. Through the joy of pure spontaneity FIELDS embrace an open, boundaryless approach to music, guided by the simple rule to listen & be present.
