I have passed on your project request to the Board for review. However, if I may offer a personal perspective, I would ask you to prepare for rejection. You are asking for a lot of the Board's trust and resources without anything concrete to back your request up - just myths and maybes. I have not known the Board to be quite so frivolous and irresponsible with their investments.

I trust you are all enjoying your well-earned end of year break!
I would just like to once more congratulate you all on a fantastic year for AKSD Corp. We've had unprecedented reports of high public opinion, high workplace morale, and yes, high levels of moderately severe on-site accidents and injuries, but I remind you that this is due to the record LOW reports of gravely severe incidents and outright disappearances. A "moderately severe" downgrade we can all be truly proud of, I think!
I would particularly like to highlight the AKIRA SLIDE public outreach project, helmed by our Serpent Fang Division, as one of the company's true standout successes of the year. Whilst I understand there were some questions about the project, such as "how is this at all safe?" and "why why why oh god why have you let him out of confinement?", AKIRA SLIDE have undeniably changed the way the public thinks about AKSD Corp. for the better. Great job, guys!
You have all poured so much blood, sweat, blood, tears, and blood into the company this year. Yet, there is still much to be done. Enjoy the remainder of your break, and cherish this time with your loved ones. Come the new year, we will again be asking much of you.
