Building harmonies is my favourite part of writing π₯°
What melodies you choose to layer in your songs can really alter the energy and feel of it. You can punctuate or create a steadier flow, darken or brighten, make it sound sadder or happier... Although to some ears it may feel messy and overpowering, having grown up with classical music, it's almost impossible for me to write a vocal melody without hearing all the possibilities available to create the exact feel I want to emote.
