From Proofing to final finishes, we expertly print, laminate. mount and frame these amazing images. @edwardburtynsky The Great Acceleration International Center of Photography, NYC Jun 19, 2025 - Sep 28, 2025 Edward Burtynsky’s first solo institutional exhibition in New York City in over twenty years, reveals the depth of Burtynsky’s investigation into the human alteration of natural landscapes around the world, showing their present fragility and enduring beauty in equal measure. @icp Curated by David Campany, Creative Director at ICP, this retrospective exhibition will present over seventy photographs, including many of Burtynsky’s landmark images, some of which have never previously been shown, along with three ultra high-resolution murals. The exhibition will also include a visual and narrative timeline of Burtynsky’s creative life. Intentionally scheduled to extend through Climate Week NYC in September 2025, The Great Acceleration will serve not only as an urgent call for action, but will also give visitors the opportunity to appreciate the sublimity that remains in the landscape, while also deepening our understanding of the challenges that confront us today. ✨Opening this week! ✨ On May 2, Nicholas Metivier Gallery presents an exhibition of extremely rare and important Edward Burtynsky photographs in The Vault Collection, on view through May 30th. @edwardburtynsky @metiviergallery Expertly printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Baryta paper and mounted to ACP. “This exhibition is, for me, a moment of reflection. Over more than four decades of making photographs, certain images have come to stand as markers along the path of my thinking about industry, landscape, and the scale of human ambition. Many of the works in this show have long since sold out, but by returning to the vault and selecting a small number of artist proofs from my own archive, along with presenting a few of these photographs at a scale that was not possible at the original time of release due to material and technological restrictions, I’ve had the opportunity to revisit them with fresh eyes. Assembling this selection of prints allowed me to rediscover the ideas that first compelled me to make them, while also recognizing how their meaning continues to evolve over time.
