Ok wow, it's now official. I wrote a book!
To be honest, I never thought I’d be saying those words. But, two years ago when @hardiegrantbooks asked if I’d like to author a book about 50 of the world’s ‘ultimate’ dive sites, I thought, “Why not?!”
From Norway’s orcas to Brazil’s anacondas; from diving with Dominica’s sperm whales to going remote at spots like Cocos, Galapogas and Malpelo. There’s practical info and plenty of stories (plus it's filled with my photography) to get you excited about diving the world.
Ultimate Dive Sites is now available for pre-order via my website, bookstores or Amazon, for release on 29 Jan (11 Feb in the USA/UK/Europe). This project was a lot of fun and I'm really proud of how it turned out. I was blessed to work with great editors, too @deborahdicksonsmith and Megan Cuthbert. Thanks all. Earlier this month, I spent 10 days sailing with an incredible group of friends through the far north of Norway well within the Arctic Circle. I've done many trips to this part of the world before, and this trip was a stand-out. For a part of the world that is so uniquely different and far away from my native Australia, it's incredible how much I feel I belong there and will forever long to return. It would be fair to say I owe the best part of my career to the Arctic.
