TO THE MOON!🌙 After my crazy crash the other day attempting a backflip on this exact same jump & people doubting me, I knew that I had to come back & conquer it. I hadn’t done a “real” backflip in over 15 years. But today, the stars aligned! I had the SE team cheering me on, my daughter Angelina at my side, and @chadkagy even showed up! When I was finally ready, it was raining, thundering, & lightning.⚡️ So the pressure was on! And I did it. I did it! Jason Davies (RIP) blasts at the 2-Hip contest in Escondido along with @gabeweedbmx and @syarroll Fun Fact: back in 1998 BMX Plus! had not gone to full color yet, so about half the magazine was in black and white. @bmxdmc was riding for K2 and Aaric Deshaw was shredding Vegas on a Gary Fisher. It should be no surprise @toddlyons was in multiple ads.
