I’ll never forget how nervous I was in the
@i_d office, showing my rough early work to an art director. It was my first-ever portfolio meeting. Someone said Terry was coming down to take a look, and my nerves went into overdrive. Terry sat with me and went through every page; he couldn’t have been more kind, curious, or thoughtful. He asked if he could publish some of my personal work in the magazine — and, in doing so, gave me a career that day. I’m eternally grateful.
Terry is the realest of the real ones. He and Trish have opened doors for countless young creatives at the very start of their careers. Love to you both!
