In 2022 or 2023, i wrote in a poem
"Ideally, the sun will rise, but it will fall on me"
Today, this work is a response to that:
"The sun rose and entered my eyes"
From despair, survival to transformation, and quiet revelation. I discovered the healing touch of Jesus. It was not loud, but it was the rise of the sun. Utterly real. He brought light into my life and resurrected me. A pure work of grace.

Thinking of 2025.
2025 is best told with images—images from my phone camera, moments that defined days, experiences, and feelings. I consider photography a journal, a pillar of words, when memory fades and I can no longer remember what those experiences looked like. 2025 is a story, told best through the images I took, not through my words, lest it become a nervous ramble, lol.
�I am grateful to God for every experience, every lesson, every persons, every pain, every struggle, every whys, and every help that He brough my way this year. Thank you Lord. I am eternally grateful for every. single. day.

With this month’s grant, Praise is taking the first real steps toward building her art business. She’ll be producing a small run of high-quality prints from her digital artworks, developing a unique framing style in collaboration with a local woodcrafts man, and setting up her online store.
