"It was the summer of '21. Brooklyn. I was nursing a mild hangover after a late night with the usual remedy: anime & naps. When I received a call from @ale_m_93 asking if I wanted to ride my bike to Rockaway Beach. We weren't living together yet nor had we started dating yet (that would be summer of '22). So naturally I said yes despite not being in tip top shape. I used the time it took for her to bike from Manhattan to my place to get ready when musical inspiration struck. I hopped in my studio to start laying tracks down so i wouldn't lose the idea. When she arrived she waited downstairs in the street while I wrapped up my mini recording session. The opening line "wait for me, im coming down" is often mistaken as a metaphor for coming down off a high. In reality it really just means "wait for me, im coming down" as my future wife was literally waiting for me to come downstairs. 5 years later, this song is still not finished! But we've been busy! Alex, the girl who waited for me to come down, and I are married now! And live in a beautiful home upstate. Im still not sure how it all came about in the order that it came about. But wait for me, im coming down and we dont know where life will take us next" - Toast

Best (and fastest) day of my life.
TLDR: the wedding was dope af. Absolutely perfect day, but went by so so fast. Thank you for support and love we couldn't have pulled this off without it. So much love. Also we're on the books as the 3rd wedding in 400 years in this church - so you could say we're a part of Buccheri history now. Also Raymond & Simona need to seriously go into the wedding planning business (they even got us a full blood red moon).

What an incredible day and what a beautiful experience. This is not really a term i ever thought i would use but i have to admit, this was an absolute fairy tail wedding.
People try to prepare you for the day and what you'll feel and how quickly it will go by, but even armed with that knowledge ahead of time, you can never fully be prepared. For the emotions, for the love, for the attention (all of it centered on you), for the fun (and how quickly it goes by) and then for the day to be done after so much painstaking planning and preparation.
Alex and I are still in disbelief that we actually managed to pull off an international wedding in a remote mountain region of Sicily in her father's hometown of Buccheri, a place that is so so incredibly special for the both of us. All while making a complete life change and moving from the city to the catskills, getting new jobs, being separated for 5 months. Putting it all into perspective after the fact really is astounding. And even though we didn't have an event planner we were far from alone. The love and support we've been surrounded by has been a huge blessing. And absolutely none of this would have been possible without the help we received from Raymond and @drago.simona81 who helped us from translations to logistics and appointments to finding the venue to getting the moon to be a full blood moon! - seriously, they should actually go into business doing wedding planning!
We've been back in the catskills getting readjusted to life, which has been nothing short of a dream, but still reliving it all through photos and videos and wishing we could live this day on repeat.
In the words of @ray_lumokso , I "have found my Holy Grail."
My One Piece.
We were almost late to our own wedding...
...Whether it's in the Caribbean, the Mediterranean, or the Hudson, I guess we just run on island time.
Although Friday was technically just the legal paperwork day down at city hall, and the real wedding and celebration is still to come in August, it was an incredible and special day for @ale_m_93 and I. Thank you all so much for the well wishes and congratulations (still getting through and responding to everyone!).
And special thanks to @ray_lumokso for the photos, @yukihebner for bearing witness, and @endimoonphoto for the super 8 footage (stoked to see that).
Lots of really wonderful photos were taken that day and I'll probably feel the need to share more beautiful from this amazing day !
