There has been a lot of demand for an independent Music Academy, and we want to hear what you want to learn!

This Thursday, May 21st, at 6:00pm, the Doctorow Center for the Arts will be once again hosting a screening night with some really special films. This round is a double feature, first up is the Lady of Larkspur Lotion (2014), of which the play of the same name is credited for the character inspiration for Blanche DuBois.
We are fortunate enough to be joined by director Sergio Rico and starring actress Lora Lee Ecobelli who have made themselves available for a Q/A after the film. Following that will be a screening of the original Streetcar Named Desire (1951), which is sure to be a hit.
Admissions are completely free and concessions are available, so come on down to the Doctorow Center for the Arts on Thursday, May 21st, at 6:00pm.

Don your glass slippers and call your Fairy Godmother, Cinderella is coming to town!
Coming this August, the Orpheum Dance Program's Summer Ballet returns with a production of Cinderella. Victoria Rinaldi, former ballerina for the Metropolitan Opera, will serve as the intrepid director of this spectacular show. Rehearsals begin in July, with three performances held on August 1st - August 2nd. Auditions will be held on Wednesday, June 17th, at 4:00pm inside the Red Barn at 7970 Main Street in Hunter, NY, 12442.
This production is open to ages 6 -17 and no prior dance or theater experience is required, although some of the more challenging roles require some experience.
