Graphic design for the closing weekender of the beloved @intransformation.space in Bern, CH. The End is Near; The End is Here. I liked the idea of approaching this series of posters by bouncing between functionality, simplicity and playfulness. The initial plan was to print in K and Silver, which for timing reasons was not possible </3 The first poster is a simple typographic composition on a black background, as sombre as it is attractive. The second poster (horizontal) is cut in half on two vertical supports. It draws on the typical aesthetic of funeral announcements from the neighbouring peninsula, trying not to be (too) blasphemous: we are still talking about a funeral, after all. The third poster consists of a wonderful text composed by @mahalinski , a giant tombstone and other informative text. To tie in with the marching teddy bears, the shop window has become a space for direct communication with the outside world: in the bottom row, we find the characters again, talking to us through the use of the top row of posters. In addition to the posters, other informative images have been produced for social media. Once again, a special thank you to the team for the opportunity and the good times. Graphic design for the closing season of the beloved @intransformation.space in Bern, CH. I tried my best to turn this heartbreaking event into a colourful psychedelic celebration, drawing inspiration from the hippies of the 1960s and their teddy bears, and once again using the best font ever: Times New Roman. Many thanks to Mali for the invitation and to the entire team for their trust <3 I included some slides from the presentation, some changes occured during the (rather) quick and painless process. We had the pleasure of exhibiting our project ‘Insolazione Permanente 2024’ at the Formato Cantonale exhibition curated by @roesti.archive as part of the Weltformat Festival 2025. On display was a small part of our creative process and the final results, including the poster, the event T-shirt, and the promotional video. Exhibition poster + flyer for @massin first CH solo show at @standarddeluxe.ch in Lausanne, Switzerland. The design was limited to introducing the artist's imagery and his works, serving as a mere means of presentation and transport into the conceptual-visual universe of the exhibition. The aim of the promotional material is to intrigue the observer, without resorting to draconian marketing tactics and trends, with the same honesty and transparency that radiates from the artworks. The typography, composed and organised on a rigid and concise grid, therefore takes on a purely informative role. The expressive component is relegated to the shape of the letters themselves, characterised by bold serifs and square letters, features that instil a sense of seriousness, stability, historical relevance and a feeling of timelessness. Furthermore, it introduces an important narrative intent, referring to the use of serif fonts for printing stories, narratives, essays, and so on, thus seeking to distance itself from a rather sterile and modernist contemporary gallery context. After an initial rough digital composition, the process was carried out entirely in analogue, using a thermal stencil printer. Once I had defined a satisfactory structure, I then changed the colour of the image and digitally placed the logos. In its very first issue, Bebe Magazine offers a broad constellation of possibilities for queer understandings, beyond identity-based reduction. Using the prefix trans- (across, beyond, through), each of our eight co-curators chose a term and formed mini collectives to destabilise its accompanying pre-established, societally accepted, conceptions—from transversal lines to transactions. 𝙵𝚛𝚊 𝚒 𝚐𝚛𝚘𝚟𝚒𝚐𝚕𝚒 𝚍𝚒 𝚖𝚘𝚛𝚎 𝟷𝟻.𝟷𝟷.𝟸𝟶𝟸𝟺 - 𝚁𝚎𝚐𝚞𝚕𝚊 𝙱𝚊𝚛, 𝙱𝚎𝚛𝚗 - 𝙳𝚘𝚘𝚛𝚜 𝟸𝟶:𝟶𝟶 È ritornato l'autunno e con esso uno spettro di emozioni che avevamo tentato di scordare durante i più sereni mesi estivi. Ritornano la nebbia e le giornate scure: ci si vorrebbe soltanto rintanare in un luogo protetto. Al sicuro da tutto il resto. Solo in un secondo momento realizziamo che quel nascondiglio è un cespuglio di rovi. E seppur graffi e punga, offre anche la consolazione di un dolce frutto. Quindi decidiamo di rimanere lì, aspettando i prossimi mesi caldi. Con gioia e grandissimo affetto invitiamo vecchi e nuovi amici a perdersi con noi fra questi grovigli di more.
