At the opening of the WALPURGISNACHT exhibition, our friends from the Red&Wine @red.and.wine bar will be in charge of the atmosphere and flavors. ​This is a place where time seems to stand still, as the past and present meet by the fireplace to the gentle crackle of burning wood. At Red&Wine, food is prepared over open coals right before your eyes, and every guest is treated like an old friend. The team selects wines not by their labels, but by the depth of their character, allowing you to experience the true art of Georgian winemaking in every single glass. ​A special selection awaits you at the vernissage, ranging from light, refreshing sangria to authentic qvevri wines. 1 MAY: WALPURGISNACHT Exhibition Vernissage Risa Chernaia, also known as Wandering Siren @siren_is_wandering , is a somatic artist whose creative exploration centers on Butoh and physical theatre. At the exhibition opening, Risa will present a performance: Butoh and the path of becoming a shaman.You learn to step across taboos, crossing line after line with increasing mastery until you gain the power to traverse the boundaries between worlds. In the process, it becomes clear that the ultimate taboo is the contact with our true selves.

The myth emerged from the moral society's fears regarding pan-European spring festivities held in defiance of prohibitions. On May 1, TMA.project is hosting a modern-day sabbath at Aer Place of Light @aer_placeoflight The program from 18:00 to 00:00 includes: - Art ritual and performances - Artist talks - Music sets - Wine bar with a sommelier, beer, and a tea zone This is an evening for those looking for their own kind. Walpurgis Night, also known as Witches’ Night, is a Germanic folk tradition associated with May Day - a mythical sabbat marked by ritual, sacrifice, and revelry. The myth is believed to have emerged from societal anxieties surrounding pan-European spring celebrations that often defied moral and religious norms. These May festivities were traditionally linked to sowing and courtship rituals, featuring boisterous dancing, nature rites, lavish feasts, and candid interactions between young men and women. The exhibition "WALPURGISNACHT" is dedicated to the themes of sexuality and taboo, shame and freedom, femininity and masculinity, corporeality, passion, and tension. Sexuality can function both as a means of self-discovery and as a form of escapism, capable of both healing and retraumatization. What provokes public and private discomfort when we speak about sexuality and personal boundaries? How do the artist and the viewer distinguish between an ordinary body and an erotic object? You are invited to share your thoughts, feelings, and experiences on these and other topics through the exhibition.
