Thank you to @lamamaetc for the amazing opportunity to write and create at @lamamaumbria this summer alongside these wonderfully inspiring playwrights. It was truly an exceptional experience that I don't think I will ever have enough words for, and to Mia, David, Kenny, Martyna, and La MaMa familia, thank you for making it so special

Kat. Five years ago I was sitting in a studio at Stella Adler and this caring, thoughtful, quick-witted and brilliant director walked in. I was immediately in awe of you, and over the years my admiration of your passion, talent, resilience and strength has only grown. You have continued to be there for me as a mentor, confidant, friend and now director. I can’t tell you how much it means to me to go from asking you to write a recommendation letter for Columbia, to now closing my thesis show here that you directed so beautifully. Thank you for everything; for always believing in me, for your unconditional support, advice and guidance. And for helping me bring this play that’s so close to me to light. I know this is only the beginning.
