Inspired by Baudelaire’s poem I built the program that opened my residency @worldheartbeat Harmonie du Soir is about the meeting of poetry and music - an exploration of twilight, beauty, and harmony across time, from Liszt and Baudelaire to contemporary voices today. The program included Chopin, Schubert, Debussy’s Clair de Lune, Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata, and @philipglass Étude No. 6, alongside two premieres by dear friends: Penumbra by @johnfrederickhudson and Crepuscule d’équinoxe by Théophile Krosi-Douté @tkdcomposer Intertwined with solo works it was an exceptional joy to perform Liszt’s Petrarch Sonnets and Schubert D510 with the incredible soprano @simona_mihai_stage A special thank you to @brioni_official — their elegance and craftsmanship felt like a natural extension of the evening’s spirit of harmony. And thank you to everyone who joined me on this journey — this is just the beginning.
