Each season you expect to have a few seniors on the team that will be moving on to the next stage in their lives. This year was crazy. We had five seniors that will graduate this year. Each one came to the team as timid kids with a level of uncertainty and a range of differences. The team brought them together and they grew up on the court, and now they take off to shape the future. This was a great group of kids.

I was lucky enough to coach this brat for eight years. He came in the gym every week with a smile on his face and worked his butt off. I got to watch him grow up on the court, and now he is one of five graduating seniors on the team that will move on towards the next step in their journey.

Meet the Jr. Road Warriors — a high school wheelchair basketball team made up of athletes with paraplegia, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, and amputee.
But on the court?
We are simply athletes.
After earning our spot at Nationals in Monroe, Louisiana, our team now needs help raising $15,000 by the end of March!
Funds will cover:
✈️ Airfare $6,750
🏨 Hotel (4 nights) $5,400
🏀 Tournament fees $1,000
🛻Accessible car rentals $1,850
