🎥 Here's a sample of a series I'm running on LinkedIn about video marketing skills. We've conducted extensive research on effective video marketing strategies, consulting reputable sources like HubSpot, WyzOwl, and various social media platforms. Combined with our hands-on experience, it's pretty comprehensive and reliable. Check it out and follow me for useful tips :)

I’m excited to announce my new portrait photography account @shotbytitus I’ve been doing a lot of stuff that didn’t fit into my whole wanky creative filmmaker photographer thing, so I decided to create a wanky portrait photographer thing. I’ll be releasing lots of fashion, beauty, editorial and fine art stuff. If that’s something that you might be into, please chuck me a follow, I’d really appreciate it 😊

🔊 BETTER WITH SOUND ON 🔊 Circular Quay in Flow Motion. This is a passion project I’ve been working on in my spare time for a while. Very excited to share it with you! Let me know what you think in the comments. Shot on Sony a7sII with Zhiyun Crane 2 stabilizer. I used @daniel.schiffer ‘s awesome Sanfield LUT package to create this look.

I’ve been working on a study for Black Iris Films, and the main finding has properly stuck with me: Helpful isn’t always engaging. We analysed 742 Instagram Reels and TikTok videos across 48 brands and 5 sectors, looking at emotion-led vs informational content. The strongest posts weren’t just the most useful or informative. They made people feel something. The big number: Emotion-led posts were 2.1x more likely to hit the top quartile. And in finance, the pattern was even stronger, which honestly makes sense. Money is already emotional. Most finance content just behaves like it isn’t. The practical takeaway is simple: Before you post, ask what the audience should feel. Then signal that feeling early. Then actually deliver on it. FEEL → SHOW → DELIVER. Full study link in bio :)

Short we made for @hubforbelle W/ @studioelford & @gingerharrison._ Came for the stills. Stayed for the film. We were brought in as the photography team for Hub for Belle, an Australian natural skincare brand built on native botanicals and clean beauty values. The video was our addition. A quiet beach, good light, and a brand with a clear ethos.

Creating a simulated construction hyperlapse wasn’t easy but I’m pretty happy with the result. I used Photoshop’s Gen Fill and After Effects to simulate the progression of a construction site. Unlike simple AI-generated outfit changes, this required removing the tower entirely, reconstructing a realistic background (including moving cloud shadows), and then building a 5G tower and a dynamic array progression that feels seamless and believable. A world-first for construction hyperlapses. It started when a major 5G infrastructure provider handed me some slightly unexciting drone footage of 5G towers. The footage was purely functional — just for documentation. They asked if I could do something to make it more engaging. I’d been wanting to create a proper construction hyperlapse for years, and I realised I could reverse-engineer a technique my client had sent me — originally used for outfit changes — into a real drone construction hyperlapse. But it was harder than I thought. Removing the tower and recreating the background was one thing — but animating construction crews, cranes, and even birds in realistic scale and motion was another. Each frame was like creating a new painting — intense, but so much fun. It paid off. The client was blown away and covered the extra time — and since their CEO was so happy, they’ve now commissioned a hero video using this technique. Next up: I want to try this on a skyscraper. @Adobe @Photoshop @Filmmakersworld @guerillafilmmakers @adobecreativecloud @evolving.ai #filmmaking #VFX #AI #construction #hyperlapse #timelapse #photoshop #aftereffects #cinematography #creativeediting #5G #dronefootage #madewithphotoshop
