Framed our upper floor walls on the lower ground and craned into place in less than 1 day. Due to the weight and height of the 140mm walls at the gable ends, this was the most practical, safest and accurate option.
Just in case you hadn't heard.
We're pretty thrilled with the design, the materials, the clients, the location, and of course Boris the whippet making his almost daily site inspections.

Another spectacular image from our Albert Park project. These skylight shafts are tiled with hand made encaustic tiles from @pophamdesign and the concrete upstands are crafted by the talent at @rutsoconcreting
The baltic pine floorboards were carefully removed from the 140yo house at the beginning of the project, cleaned, stored and relaid.
Someone wasn't happy being out in the rain, but I couldn't help stop and admire the great progress of this CLT project underway whilst out walking doggo in my local neighbourhood.
Absolutely thrilled to see the use of cross laminated timber products being utilised more frequently here in Australia, and even more so right at my doorstep here in Thornbury.

The legends over @kaber_australia assisting us with a terrestrial scan of our current project in Albert Park. The data collected by the scan will be imported and integrated into our 3D model of the new structure to allow pinpoint precision when fabricating our extremely complex structural steel frame.
Using this type of technology removes a substantial amount of guesswork and potential for human error. It also allows us to get our nerd on.

We continually strive to increase our knowledge of better building practices and push to lift the standard and quality of construction within the industry.
