SWIMATHON 🩵💦
More than 1 in 3 young people in Australia are experiencing mental health difficulties. Suicide remains the leading cause of death for young people aged 14-24. And the risk amongst LGBTQIA+ youth is devastatingly higher - five times more likely to attempt suicide.
This March, I’ve challenged myself to swim 20km to help change that. By encouraging me (cos I’ve never swum that far before!) you’ll be supporting young people to access vital mental health services, saving lives.
If you can, please donate to me .au/fundraisers/simonetippett/laps-for-life-2026 or one of my buddies in our team .au/fundraisers/YoullFloatToo
💦 🩵 Easy link in bio 🩵💦
And if you’d like to support us but don’t have the moolah just now, please consider sharing the link instead…
Cos pressing the button is a great way to help whilst keeping your hair dry 🩵💦
Thank you! 🤗

Toby TV: Whilst dipping a toe into iMovie this evening, I discovered a clip accidentally made on holidays about 4 years ago, lazing in bed at a Pt Elliott B’n’B …
After eating the silicon face mask of my CPAP machine, our angelically devilish pup decided he was all grown up, and should henceforth survey his domain from the comfort of my quilt, amongst the shreds of my face mask …
Says it all really!
Awesome inky day starting with Pineapple and Passionfruit Pancakes at the Best Breakfast Cafe in Australia @ponyandcole and working with the generous and talented @tipchick to create some Viscosity prints! #printmaking #workshop #viscosityprint #collagraphs
I'll be voting YES! Because I want to live in a country that recognises 65,000 years of Indigenous culture in our constitution. Listening through a Voice means we'll work together to create a better future.

So, today, @kittymagee and I went to the Oxford University Museum of Natural History...
In the interest of keeping things simple, just for today, for your viewing pleasure, here are the nice toes of the three sandalled old fogies at the
OUMNH… And one of me on a bad hair day.
The OUMNH building was founded in 1860 and designed with the Pre-Raphaelite precept of “Truth to Nature”. It has SOOOO many columns, each with an entirely different base or capitol, each carved to replicate a particular plant, none of them repeated. (I can bore you witless with a selection of these later.) It describes itself as "a stunning Victorian building home to seven million specimens (and one very famous dodo 🦤)"
I really thought I’d died and gone to heaven. And then we walked into the Pitt Rivers Museum and my brain exploded.
So there you have it. (After all that, you are probably grateful this post covers only a few toes!)

So yesterday I got to spend two hours up close and personal with some original Rembrandt, van Ostade and Samuel Palmer prints in the @ashmoleanmuseum ... Huge thanks to Katherine Wodehouse and Caroline Palmer who welcomed me into their sanctuary of print treasures, it was wonderful!
If ever you are in Oxford, please email them to arrange your own visit… the Ashmolean Print Room is a secret delight that any of us can access, amazing!
I can’t share photos from the Print Room on Insta, but I was allowed to take some for my own record, which was really unexpected and kind of the Ashmolean. (Thank you!) So the next time you are in class, do ask, and I’ll show you on my phone 💙
In the meantime, something to leaven my lack of print snaps today… first attempt at punting with my beloved, the gorgeous @kittymagee …
Not even my favourite Darth Vader t-shirt helped. At one point the ducks were paddling up with concerned, confused looks on their beaks, ha! 🤣
How I feel about London, after a week of wallowing in classical Greek sculpture, Assyrian bas reliefs, neo-classical fancies, Japanese netsukes, Rembrandts and winding old streets ♥️
