I had a berry sweet time playing in my kitchen working on this recipe for my friends (and y’all tbh), @forgetotable . I bought Aaron a cleaver from them for Christmas, sent them a love letter gushing over the beauty of said knife, and now we’re pals and I got to contribute to their blog!! COOL!! It was something I haven’t done in a really long time and it was SO fun. Give it a little read, maybe bake a little treat, and if you need a new knife - don’t hesitate on grabbing one (or ten) from them. Highly recommend & we love supporting small businesses, ofc. It’s a base recipe I hold dear to my heart and have been playing with since my days at Sweet Chick. It’s been on menus, a real ride or die recipe for me, and a friend even recently made it successfully dairy free and GF. I hope you try this recipe and then take it and PLAY!

Almost 6 months with these insanely silly sisters. They came to us sooner than expected but we feel dang blessed we got to home these two inseparable girlies. I’m only mildly obsessed with their smooshy faces, daily window snugs, and their need for a snack every 2.5 minutes. 🤭💕💕💕💕
