I don’t even know where to start with how beautiful this whole experience has been. This show came into my life at such a wild and heavy time, and somehow became exactly what I needed. I’m so beyond grateful for every moment, every challenge, every laugh, and every bit of magic we created together.
Thank you so much to @misstattoo83 and @satya_performance_arts for pouring your hearts into this show and creating something so special. Bloom truly feels like home, and the love and connection in that space is something I’ll never take for granted.
To this incredible cast & crew — you all worked so hard and brought so much love, creativity, and dedication to every rehearsal and performance. I had the best time growing, trying new things, and sharing the stage with such inspiring humans.
And to the artists who helped bring this world to life — from the stunning stage design by @owlymo to the photographers and videographers who captured these moments so beautifully — thank you for helping preserve and elevate the magic of this show.
And to everyone who came to watch and support us — thank you for being part of the magic. It means more than you know. 💖

I haven’t had time to really sit down and write this post, so it’s a little bit delayed. We just finished a whole weekend of performing our Mad Hatter’s tea party immersive aerial and dance show. This is one of the best experiences I’ve ever had putting together a production like this.
From day one, we jived so well as a cast, and worked together like we had known each other forever.
Thank you to @misstattoo83 for writing this incredible show and helping @tinyhooper and I create this masterpiece. Thank you Shalmeen for being my brave flier!
Thank you to the entire cast for being so supportive throughout this entire process.

We’re just over a week out from the Student Bonanza! Next up in our introductions, we're so excited to welcome Shalmeen Sommerville to the stage!
Shalmeen has been training in aerial for two years, and over the past year, it’s become an absolute passion! Before diving into aerial, she spent 11 years practicing hoop dance, which has been an incredible creative outlet and way for me to truly connect with my body and express myself. Aerial silks felt like the perfect next step, and she’s beyond excited to combine hooping with her silks performance!
This is also Shalmeen’s first time putting together a performance like this, and getting to play around with creating a character while merging two forms of movement has been an absolute blast.
Shalmeen is so grateful to her amazing instructors at Bloom, who’ve helped her grow and push her boundaries as an artist. She can’t wait to share this performance and the joy she’s found in movement with everyone!
