Speaking on stage at BRIDGE Summit, Abu Dhabi was a moment I’ll never forget. @bridge @iycconnect @tinyhandscharity I shared my project Tiny Hands and my mission to inspire the next generation to give back to their communities: to use their voices, platforms, and creativity for good, especially when it comes to protecting and empowering children in the digital world. I also spoke about something close to my heart: ✨ women do not need to fit into one box ✨ We are allowed to be multifaceted. Leaders and creatives. Advocates and professionals. Soft and strong. Purpose-driven and ambitious. Over three inspiring days, we: • took part in roundtables on the impact of social media and news on our generation • explored ethical storytelling and journalism • discovered AI tools shaping the future of media and education • connected with industry leaders who truly care about impact The energy, the conversations, and the belief in purpose-led change made this experience unforgettable, and reminded me why Tiny Hands exists. It made us cry as we realised how little can bring a lot of happiness ❤️. Bali Street Kids Orphanage Project @emily_cossey and @mylife_follow visited @ykpatabanankids in Bali to deliver games, food and towels💕 This orphanage houses 19 children who have been abandoned/lost their parents and they are always in need of donations and people to come and spend time with them💖 - especially after COVID they don’t have as many visitors. Recently I’ve been reflecting on my pageant experience and the type of role model I want to be. I have spent the last two months volunteering and learning to teach English to young children in Vietnam with @gotoco Although it was tough work, it emphasised to me that being a pageant queen is not enough; being a good role model is the most important. As World Miss University England and Miss England 2nd Runner Up I had the honour of being a special guest for 1,500 students at their annual English speaking contest in rural Vietnam. Kenya School Visit During my trip to Kenya we visited a local school to inspire, play with and learn from the children thanks to @mahalimzuri We were able to talk to them about their dreams and how we can take steps to achieve them! This school took 5 years to build and it now houses over 300 students! Providing important education to help these children grow. The smiles of happiness and pure joy on the children’s faces during the visit was priceless.
