We didn’t post on April 1 because it’s no joke when you turn 10!!! Who would believe that a fiercely independent, bold, ambitious (and fun and quite nutty) shop owned and led by women could grow into today’s company? Our reputation for nurturing talent, being tastemakers and way finders stems from these 10 wonderful years of ads and films. A decade spent exploring this crazy country and the world, working alongside some of the most amazing people one can hope to find. Of course, we’ve also encountered a few bozos along the way—but hey, they make the stories better, right? The thanks we owe to you all could go around the world three times. The all-nighters would add up to weeks. The (approved) overtime to months, the fun times, the parties, and the “just one last night cap”s to another 10 years… And that’s why we do it— for the people we meet, the laughs we share, and the memories we create...Sure, it’s nice to make a buck, but not another dollar would matter without those who propped us up along the way. @tinygigantism director, @trevormcmahan , has tapped into a very longing everyone has now and then. His short film is a human story about digital exhaustion and the fantasy of starting over. Ironically, it was shot entirely on an LED volume stage. What began as a test for an LED volume wall in Geneva evolved into a narrative that shows virtual production technology can serve character-driven storytelling, not just blockbuster action.
