recently my daily life has been full of self-reflection and growing pains. i’m continuing to acknowledge and show compassion for the patterns in my life; how i see myself, my actions, how i relate with others, debilitating perfectionism. i’m grateful i can channel existential dread / terror from apocalyptic weather in nyc + general trauma into art! 🌌 🔂 ➰ i’ll try to keep sharing raw and imperfect art! ➰ 🔂 🌌

this month i had the privilege of being part of the trailer blaze 2026 comic residency thanks to @shortrunseattle and goddamn did i have an unforgettable time. i met people ill never forget, ate home cooked meals daily, and learned how to love comics again while working on my new comic radiumworld (sneak preview i worked on attached!). first and last two photos by @veronicavelazquezaviles 🖤

Artist in Residency 2025 - tinguu is a multimedia artist based in New York. portugal was incredible. I met astounding artists + learned all new printmaking techniques at the @aviariostudio residency in Ferreira do Zêzere. I learned cyanotype, intaglio drypoint + printing with tetra pak, and metal etching with @cristiana.fernands cristiana helped me finally fall in love with printmaking. i met incredible fellow residents @kumudini.hajra @gavinkew.artist @carolyn_likes_plants and had to best experience with roomies @artewitty @shayla_giroux and @tildatribbeck_prints who inspired me to share meals and late night laughs. i’m in my cooking era now thanks to them. I reunited with long lost love, favorite gps navigator, and vampirefreak @tersinka in Porto. 🖤 made so many precious memories and encountered endless wildflowers. i love y’all. time to do laundry. 🙂‍↕️
