It’s an honor to work with so many talented artists. Thank you,
@sat_montreal and
@aadnlyon , for your support and help over the past few days.
Our group’s work centers around the theme of “memory of environment and nature,” reinterpreting it through sensory experiences. Like the nodes in the sky and the trees on the ground, these elements are transformed into a soundscape—layers of spatial audio stack up to envelop the audience in a rich, immersive auditory experience. This section of sound was co-created by
@florence_delphine_roux and
@yuchia.k_
The visuals for the first part were created by me, along with some materials provided by my collaborator
@_piavidal_ . Using real-time audio signal processing as the generative basis, I built dynamic 3D imagery. I’ve been deeply engaged in exploring the relationship between sound and real-time 3D visual content, so for this project, I focused especially on how sound can become the driving force of visuals. This work also continues my long-term investigation into translating text into other perceptual dimensions.
The 3D AI models I’ve developed not only reflect the intentions of Taiwanese users during the model generation process, but also reveal how specific words are stored and interpreted within AI databases—both of which can be seen as forms of memory and echoes from the past.
Echoing the nature of the dome space—like being in a planetarium looking up at the stars—I envisioned constellations as another way to express memory and ritual. I aimed to expand my 3D models onto the dome, turning them into celestial bodies, connecting them to form constellation-like structures where memories can shine and recombine in the virtual sky.
The full piece consists of two parts, each offering a distinct sensory experience. The second segment, created by artist Pia Vidal, focuses on the abstract transformation of memory—like traces and lines leaving marks in space.
Big thanks to
