Steve Jobs introduced FaceTime on June 7, 2010, during his keynote speech at Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). It officially launched alongside the iPhone 4 on June 24, 2010.
At the time, the feature was groundbreaking for its ease of use, though it was initially restricted to Wi-Fi connections and only worked between iPhone 4 users. During that famous presentation, Jobs even predicted that FaceTime would become an industry standard, famously using the phrase "One more thing..." to reveal the video-calling capability. Over the following year, the service expanded to the Mac, iPad, and iPod Touch.

I joke about how we never really learned Chinese Canadian history in school… so seeing a place like this now hits different.
Got the chance to check out @ccmuseumbc , and honestly, it feels like something I wish existed when I was younger.
Really cool to see how far things have come and that these stories finally have a home.
Big thank you to @cranlemon@hoseatcheung@chungdotcom
