Dogs (Two Different Ones) | The Voyeur Bordello | Detroit, MI
Super stoked to announce that all three of the photos I submitted for @thevoyeurbordello ’s Dog Show open call were selected! I LOVE taking photos of dogs. Getting down to their perspective, capturing their personality. Sorting through my archives last Friday night was a ton of fun and I can’t wait to start printing and framing these.

The powerhouse behind the scenes, Jackie Edwards. ✨
If you know the Detroit photography community, you know Jackie. A retired “serious hobbyist” with a professional’s eye and a mentor’s heart, she has been a major supporter of local creatives for years. 📸🎨
From her early days making art as a child to her current work across photography and painting, Jackie’s life is a testament to staying curious. Most recently, she was instrumental in coordinating the very first aartherapy workshop at the Pope Francis Center right here in Detroit. We truly couldn’t have done it without her coordination and vision.
Jackie reminds us that art isn’t just about what you produce—it’s about the community you build along the way. 🏙️🙌
Community is everything. Who is someone in your life that supports your creative journey? Let’s give them their flowers in the comments. 👇
