Join us February 22nd for the opening of @divola Seven Song Birds and a Rabbit 1995/2025 at the @brandstatergallery
The exhibition looks at two titular series done thirty years apart exploring the past and the future of image making.
This Sunday at @chaffeycommunitymuseum join me as I discuss the life and work of California Hard Edge painter Karl Benjamin with his daughter Beth. This is the closing reception for an excellent show on his work.
In large part we will focus on his impact on the community of the Pomona Valley and the IE. See you there.
This time last year I was hopefully, and it was among the worst I’ve had. Yet this year I am hopeful again.
I have trips planed, exhibits with young artists on the cutting edge, one with an artist I just saw displayed at the National gallery, and before all that an exhibition that includes my own work, accumulations, that opens on January 6th at the @brandstatergallery . The reception isn’t until later in the month so you will hear me talk about it more.
Here’s to a better 2026.
