Timothonius is a master of jazz piano, with education from some of the finest educators and institutions in the music industry. Jane Madeleine is a talented singer-songwriter whose performances are a powerful blend of nostalgia and optimism! ~Damon Johnston, Artistic Director
Timothonius and Jane Madeleine blend jazz, R&B, neo-soul, contemporary, and classical sounds into a dreamy mix of planned songs and live improvisations.
They first met during an impromptu jam at soundcheck two years ago, and the musical chemistry was instant. Today, their performances continue to spark new songs and moments of wonder.
About the Artists:
Timothonius is a professional pianist and producer specializing in jazz and R&B, with over 12 years of performance experience and studies in Electronic Production and Music Composition at Berklee College of Music. He channels joy, unity, and emotional depth through his music.
Jane Madeleine is a singer-songwriter thriving in jazz and ambient pop, blending spiritual resonance and personal storytelling. Her voice — at times haunting, at times radiant — draws from a deep well of childhood musicality and hope.

At Wordfest, we had the privilege of creating musical dialogue with poets as they read their own works. This audio recording of our improvised live performance, captures the essence of Canisia Lubrin’s powerful reading from her collection The Dyzgraphxst.
As @canisia.lubrin ‘s words filled the Central Memorial Library, we found ourselves drawn into the way she navigates identity, belonging, and the spaces between expression and understanding.
Our music became a companion to her poetry, attempting to translate her textured imagery and emotional resonance into sound.
There’s something profound about this intersection of literary and musical art—how a poem can become the framework for musical exploration, and how music can illuminate different dimensions of a text.
