@deadlypreygallery with @roughhousepictures was an incredible collaboration and celebration #inthestudio.
It was a thrill to showcase the absurd and engaging work of the Ghana Mobile Cinema (turned art collective). The 200 original movie posters, painted on flour sacks, were set up, displayed and taken down on the same day as the tour continues across the Southeast.

The murals, workshops, films, skate sessions and art shows blended together for an insane week of creative output. We are grateful for everyone who showed up to support our guests and this programming.

It was so rad talking to Grant and Ed as they showed off their collection of Rock n Roll history. The amount of @gratefuldead ephemera in this shop is insane. As Ed was flipping through his book of backstage passes I had to ask if March 30, 1994 was in there (my first Dead show and the last time they played Dark Star). It was. Add to cart.
I got a great little haul of collectibles, gobbled up a slice of Tony’s pizza then hoofed it back the Moscone Center (with a detour through Chinatown).
Classic couple of hours in the City.

well what a wonderful wonderful experience that was. We ( meaning @noravexplora@jonwegenersurfboards@jcanham ) and my good friend and secret weapon @jonathandupree.akacoach headed to @hedhistudio in Charleston South Carolina for a fun filled week of painting , workshops , and art extravaganza of sorts with short films and musicals and of course lots of aloha from the local community. We were well taken care of to say the least and I am beyond grateful for @timkmcmanus and crew for taking such amazing care of us. Mahalo @jonathanrypkema@t.faulkner_art@juliadeckmanstudio ( yall rule 🙏 ). I am so blessed to have such special opportunities in these crazy times. I really am so appreciative of all the love .

Ye Olde Destruction by @thomascampbellart with a live score from @creightonbarrett@west_ash and @charliekendallmusic was a magical night #inthestudio.
The improvisational compositions of the band fell into sync with the rhythm of the skaters in the edit, creating a remarkable experience for the audience.
It was a fundraiser for @thebridgespot DIY but it was also a celebration of skateboarding, art, live music and community.
The influence and inspiration Thomas’ work and @bandofhorses music has had on Hed Hi Studio is immeasurable. To have produced this event in our humble space is a dream realized.
