After a couple of years on working on this guitar the @officialjacksonguitars @leemalia signature pro series LM-87 is finally OUT!! It’s been an absolute pleasure working on this with one of my oldest mates and creating one of the sickest guitars Jackson has made to date. Massive thanks to whole team at Jackson(you all know who you are, THANK YOU), the whole team who worked on the video shoot, the @bringmethehorizon & @rawpowermanagement team who have been an absolute delight to work with, and most importantly @leemalia and @joegordonblack . The guitar is the best value for money guitar I’ve ever played, Lee’s custom pickups, the custom open grain finish, the fine tuners, the inlays, everything about it. We worked so hard with Lee to achieve making a guitar he can use live and in the studio for the bands massively diverse sound and insane shows, and is as affordable as possible, and together I think we nailed it. I’m extremely proud of this project(especially as my first signature project), to create a totally unique instrument for Jackson, and to shine a light on what a massively influential and creative guitar player Lee really is. This has been one of the hardest years of my life personally, but I have been lucky enough to firm up some incredible friendships old and new, rescue an amazing little dog, do great work at a job that I love, and spend another year with the love of my life(who I was lucky enough to TM in arenas lol). Be gone 2025, let’s drink and eat and ignore emails for a while, and roll on 2026…

👽 First domp in a while, mates and gigs and guitars and dogs an’ that 👽

Today was my mentor, best mate, and work inspiration’s last day at Fender before he moves on to pastures new. I Got my dream job at Fender four years ago now, and throughout that entire time @daveymulka has taught me everything that has made me good at my job, made me a better bloke, and made me aspire to do half the job he does with his artists. Fender is the most iconic guitar brand in the world, with the best artist relations programme in the business, and David Mulqueen is the best we have. If you’ve ever dealt with him, you know that already. He is truly one of the greatest people I have ever had the privilege of calling a friend, and a truly inspirational figure in our industry that I have been blessed to learn from. Frankly, I’m absolutely gutted to see him go and it’s a huge loss to our team, but I’m so proud of him for not compromising until he got the role he deserves, albeit elsewhere. Everyone please show him some love if you’ve ever encountered David through what we do. I love you brother, thank you for everything, truly the GOAT 🤝
