Shot a fairly solid match today at RGPSC. Really wanted to prioritize shooting on move where stages had opportunity, no matter the target difficulty. Picked up a couple NS’s for my efforts 😂. All in all a fun day and I’m really looking forward to the Short Course Showdown next weekend! 24 stages over two days!
Had a great time attending the USPSA CRO class at Rio Grande Practical Shooting Club this weekend. 16 students in the class learned from Carl Schmidt on many of the finer points of stage design and building, pinpointing potential faults, stage/match organization and much more! Then we collectively chose 4 students submitted stage designs, built them, proofed them and then shot them as a small class competition.
This was a fun class and I learned a lot greater details regarding all of the nuances of stage and squad organization and flow during a match. 10/10 would recommend! We now have 16 new certified CRO’s to help better organize and run matches in New Mexico and abroad! The New Mexico Section Championship is gonna be awesome! @theuspsa@dnroimcmanus@7578jeremy@cougarent1

A little dry fire homework for ya…
How often do you work in trigger prep, or do you just always smash away at the trigger?
Remember, there’s levels to this. Make sure you’re covering them all.
