Self-care is more than rest, getting pampered or taking a break. True self-care means checking in with all parts of our well-being! At Timely Interactions, we explore wellness through different dimensions: 💚 Emotional 🌱 Physical 🤝 Social 🕊 Spiritual 💡 Personal Growth 🌍 Environmental 💰 Financial Wellness When one area is struggling, the others are often affected too. Mental well-being is about learning to care for ourselves holistically and intentionally. 💭Which area of your wellness currently needs the most care and attention?

Its Mental Health Awareness month!!! Many of us move through life without pausing to notice how we truly feel. This week, we encourage you to slow down and check in with yourself. Ask yourself: • What emotions have I been carrying lately? • What has been draining me? • What has been giving me peace? • Have I been kind to myself? There is power in recognising your emotions instead of ignoring them. Your feelings are valid, and awareness is the first step toward healing. 🌱 #TimelyInteractions #MakeItHappenMonday

@timelyinteractions , in collaboration with @thecoraproject , recently facilitated a beautiful women’s wellness session at @scalabrinict focused on movement, grounding, hormone health, and emotional well-being. Women from different backgrounds and migration journeys came together in a space of learning, reflection, and connection; reminding us how important integration, safe spaces, and community care truly are. We love creating spaces that support mental well-being, healing, and self-understanding through practical and human-centred experiences. We are open to collaborations, partnerships, workshops, and community wellness spaces. Let’s grow and make a difference together. Many thanks to @thecoraproject and @aurora_wellbeing for the Mother's day pamper packs! #SelfCareIsFutureCare #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth #MothersDay #WomenWellness #CommunityHealing Integration TimelyInteractions

Last week we facilitated a session on Exploring Healthy Relationships and Consent with the Tilting Futures TAL cohort. The dialogue really showed that they were eager to learn and the questions raised showed both vulnerability and thoughtfulness which was amazing. It created an environment where the participants could reflect honestly and reimagine what it means to show up for themselves and others. At Timely Interactions, we remain committed to creating spaces that are real, reflective, and rooted in lived experience because meaningful change happens when we engage, listen, and grow together. If you’re interested in future workshop or collaborating, let’s connect. #TiltingFutures #HealthyRelationships #ConsentMatters #MentalWellbeing #TeamWorkMakestheDreamWork

This year’s theme, Give To Gain, reminds us that when we give intentionally, we create space for women to thrive. At Timely Interactions, we believe giving also means nurturing mental well-being creating safe spaces to speak, heal, grow, and be seen. Give a listening ear. Give encouragement. Give respect. Give opportunities. Give support for women’s mental health. Because when women are supported emotionally, socially, and economically, communities grow stronger. Let’s continue to give so women can gain confidence, dignity, and belonging. When women thrive, we all rise. #IWD2026 #GiveToGain #TimelyInteractions #MentalHealthMatters

In HER Words Aurora says, "For me, self-care often looks like slowing down...” This October, as we honour Breast Cancer & Mental Health Awareness month Aurora’s reflection reminds us that self-care is about grounding ourselves in the simplest ways, self-care is not selfish, it’s survival, it’s healing, and it’s how we sustain our mental well-being. 💗 Let’s continue to slow down, check in with ourselves, and support one another because our health, our peace, and our stories matter.

In Her Words, @pascale_12km @sgt_hair_butter Pascale says, "For me, water is everything. It keeps my skin fresh, my dreadlocks soft, and my spirit grounded. A long shower after a hard day is my reset button it washes away stress and restores my peace. My daughter's curly kinky hair also thrives with water; it's the gentlest detangler and a reminder that sometimes the simplest things bring the deepest care." Looking forward to hearing her speak at the EmpowerHer Event themed Self-Care is Future Care this Sunday afternoon!!!
