PACIFIC DRIFT 2026 begins this Friday.
We kick off the Los Angeles → Japan tour at Beat Cinema inside Hello Stranger before taking TIME//FORM + LORE BEHIND across Tokyo, Osaka, and Nara.
A month of movement, connection, and sound across cities and time zones.

@rhynemusic is heading to Japan this weekend to join the Pacific Drift tour! The tour is officially kicking off this Friday with @beatcinema at @hellostrangerla alongside @wavegroove & @m_boogs
If you’ve caught any of Rhyne’s sets, you know he always brings the high energy with crazy chops and hard hitting drums that’ll blow your face off and test the limits of the venues sound system. If you haven’t, you’re in for a treat. All the reason to come to Beat Cinema this Friday or to catch the shows if you’re in Japan!

@bu.re_ will be joining the Pacific Drift tour at @socorefactory in Osaka!
Based in LA but with eyes and ears all over the world, bu.re_ incorporates field recordings of ambience from various countries as a foundation to create textural aural soundscapes
His most recent EP, dream sequence ii unfolds slowly over two ambient pieces. “floating” carries a serene weightless energy as it grows from silence into glowing ambience. While “falling” gradually builds tension before it erupts into a storm like finale before dissolving like a dream as the layers thin away
@realblackjade will be joining the the Pacific Drift tour in Osaka at @socorefactory !
Armed with her Ableton push, Black Jade makes silky R&B sprinkled with futuristic candy-like elements. She not only creates music but is also a software developer with @output
Her most recent release, Venus Space Club began as a playful exploration of the idea of parties and dates in outer space. As it developed, it became a personal reflection of her journey of growing into the person she is today.

@m_boogs is heading to Japan to join the Pacific Drift tour kicking off next week
As a rapper, DJ and the occasional singer, boogs brings a unique blend of Hip Hop, R&B, Funk and electronic genres to his sets to create a vibe that’s sure to keep your head nodding

Yourself In Peace effortlessly blends shoegaze, beats and avant garde to create sounds that feel like visual art
His latest project BLINDSPOTS has him drifting through lofi house, noise, and avant pop building sonically from fragments that explore the presence of absence. Familiar melodic forms appear, then collapse. Harmonies dissolve, structures stutter, and any real meaning slips toward being just out of reach. Giving you a sense of something trying to surface, like a memory corrupted in real time, revealing emotional blind spots in the process. Available on Bandcamp

Joe’s music captures that laid back california feel with crazy textures that make you feel like you’re floating and swimming at the same time.
His latest project, Shapeshift was inspired by his stay in Japan last year as songs were created to play live at the shows and some were created during the trip. Available on all streaming platforms.

She has been so far as introducing many local and international artists in a wide range of areas serving as a cultural bridge-builder between LA and Japan. As a respected tastemaker, Her sets are always high energy, playing songs you didn’t know you needed to hear and to keep your neck broken
