A month of freestyle progression
A few weeks grinding tricks at the spot with @phat_gnat
There were a couple of other tricks I really wanted but I think the biggest thing I unlocked here GRIND. Huck yourself at it 50+ times and something's bound to go!

How I often feel in the highlining community: surprised from behind and utterly embraced.
The amount of love I receive from all of these beloved people is hard for me to comprehend sometimes, hard for me to receive, wondering how much I actually deserve. People tell me there's no need for me to question it, which is nice, but I can't say it isn't hard for me to face that love and give it back a lot of the time.
This past week I learned how valuable it is for all of us to share our pain together, turns out I'm not the only one who isn't sure they belong. This was a surprise, I thought I was the only one isolating myself, turns out we all love each other and a lot of us are also scared shitless of each other.
I never really talked about social anxiety or belonging very much because I didn't want it to be a burden on the person listening. Turns out a lot of the people I wasn't talking to also had something to say about it, and I could listen.
But hell, let's be honest I'm still nervous to post this too 🤷♂️ I guess growth just takes a while, seems like doing it together speeds it up though.
