🔈🔉🔊Very excited to announce my latest solo record, "Bleeding Past the Edges", available May 29 from the good folks at
@westernvinyl . On this record I dig in even harder to my unique live approach, processing violin, percussion, and tuning forks in real time without overdubs, loops or backing tracks. But if this music is experimental, it is foremost an experiment of the oldest sort — how to summon the most heartrending melodies and weave them into larger tapestries, their tessellating geometries clinging to our hearts.
I invite you into this authentic space of discovery, a sort of antidote to the alienating, pre-created "generative content” flooding these spaces. Here instead is unmediated human presence, modern music made by hands through dedicated practice and a bodily connection to sound.
