thought i’d jump on this trend :p
there’s so much struggle and shame that comes along with being an artist. BUT i love to create and i love music so much, so my effort is not going to waste!
but we do have to think … with the way things are - where so much of being an artist in australia is pay to work - how can we be expected to keep our relevancy and keep grinding and pumping out music and content when we need other avenues to keep us afloat financially? those things take a LOT of time and mental and physical labor.
most of us don’t have parents to fund everything or a trust fund - so if we are working our asses off TO pay to work, how will we ever have time or money to make music? to live life IN ORDER to make music?
is it only those who have the financial means and the privilege to not have to put their life on hold to chase their dreams who are deserving of a seat at the table? i don’t think that’s right AT ALL and im speaking for all of my peers who share a similar experience with me. there’s a lot of change that needs to happen.
regardless, thank you for all of you out there who listen to my music, have come to my shows and continue to support me. i know i fall off the face of the earth but good things take time (and money!!!! hehehe) and i will work hard to make more music happen ♡

doing laundry is actually insane. wdym the whole day is gone. why’d i have to block out a WHOLE day to do laundry. i gotta put the old laundry away so i can hang the new laundry? man i gotta fold clothes? i gotta clean my room so i can get to my wardrobe to put clothes away? times are tuff
