A recap of our recent show at @auroi_paris gallery for the book launch of Scripted by @alexblackstudio.Casting @tidecasting & @ikki_casting Scripted is a book exploring how beauty iconography shapes our ideals of identity and desirability. At its core, Scripted interrogates the economics of desire within the fashion and beauty industries, revealing how commercial photography not only sells products but scripts identity itself.The exhibition brings Scripted into a physical space through a combination of large-format prints and sculptural works, expanding on the book’s exploration of desire as both constructed and commodified. The printed images seduce with the high-gloss language of advertising.
