My four weeks are now finished at @bygghytta_ved_nidarosdomen . During these four weeks, I worked with @jens.strassegger and @magnus_vartdal to create the templates for the new doors at Nidaros Cathedral. At the same time, I helped restore the railing that will be installed at AustrĂĽtt.
During the month of February, I am working with the blacksmiths at @bygghytta_ved_nidarosdomen , assisting them with various tasks.
We are involved in many exciting and important projects within the blacksmithing trade. One of our main tasks is the restoration of the beautiful railings at AustrĂĽtt Manor.
At the same time, I am helping to produce different samples for the new doors that will be installed at Nidaros Cathedral. These include paint samples that will be sent to Sweden to find the right surface treatment for the doors.

This weekend weâre hosting (julebord) with the Odda Blacksmith Association
Casting is the main theme.
@svenssonsmie has travelled to Odda to demonstrate casting techniques.
Here we see @hoffmann_ironwork casting various bronze forms.
