This competition was a movie. The runner up hit a MASSIVE three foot PR round one and led all the way through until round six. Alivia responded well hitting 44’ attempts one and 46’ back-to-back rounds two and three. If she wanted to claim the victory it was going to take a massive effort.
Attempts four and five weren’t what we wanted, but we knew it was there. I (@sammweeks ) went over to her before her last attempt to help reinsure that winning was a possibility! We did a couple of the drills that primed us all throughout the season, played RPS (I won), and got prepared for the last attempt!
As she gets ready to take her last attempt, she gets the people going. Feeding off the energy, she just lines one up to claim the victory!!!

@elijahcabrera32 hit two BIG PR’s in his league meet to set himself up for his district meet coming up next week!
Eli hit 159’-9”/48.69m in discus, which is a 8 foot improvement and 53’-7”/16.34m, which is nearly a 2 foot improvement!
PR’ing this late in the season is a good indicator that your baseline has risen, and that’s a direct indicator of all the hard work that’s been put in towards this moment!
