Kno Cap
This was the first ever Rhythm Method gig, 10 years ago. When the only member was me. One song was performed, a version of ‘Ode 2 Joey’
Arguably The Velvet Underground of fenian pop
It’s bandcamp day! Music is a damn cruel business. It’s takes someone like me (Joey), someone who had little to no self belief and assumed I possessed no talent. And it convinced me that I had something and that I could be a somebody, put me in touching distance of the successful. I made my idols my peers. I’ve got the telephone number of some of your favourite musicians. It’s often been said that we’re your favourite band’s favourite band. That’s all pretty cool, but it doesn’t sell records. It certainly doesn’t make money.
That being said, our second album ‘PEACHY’ has been out for 2 months and we’ve still got signed peach coloured copies left! They’re actually less valuable than the non signed copies. Which means in the future they’re be considerable more valuable. Well worth the investment, they’ll be like pokémon cards in 20 years. Follow the link in our bio to get your grubby mits on them!!
It’s been one week since we released PEACHY. Thank you to anyone who has expressed love so far. You can still get your copy from the link in our bio. Why not let us know what your favourite tune off the album is?!

Today sees the release of our second album. It’s called Peachy and we made it with the help of Aoife Power, Andrew Flood, Max Bloom, Adam Whitaker and Bill Ryder Jones at the helm. It’s mostly about things like childhood, adulthood, showbusiness, touring, nights out, nights in, manic episodes and cowboy shit.
It’s been a long time coming, we thank you for your patience. There was a fair few times where we almost never got this album past the line. Showbiz and being in the travelling circus can really kick the shit out of you. But sometimes you have to stick to the cause and see things through. I feel like when you believe you have a talent worth sharing you end up having an obligation to yourself to make sure you are heard. Even if you’re not quite as delusional as you used to be. That’s what the track ‘Curse’ is about. “I don’t love this, I don’t care about this stuff that much anymore. I’m just too damn good at it to walk away”
Thanks for all the love so far. It’s been heartwarming. And thank you to all who came along to the @bandcamp listening party last night - was a lot of fun.

Happy 76th birthday to Joey’s dad. From the slums of Glasgow to a pretty nice house in an affluent part of London and still trucking - accent probably stronger than it’s ever been.
Pictured with his present, out tomorrow. RSVP for our bandcamp listening party tonight using the link in our bioi
